I also remember lvl33 Kuko Zons. One Zon in particular named KillerOfKukos. He didn't use a Kuko Bow Instead used a Skystrike and that one pierce belt (when pierce was still active) and Hawkmail Scale Mail for Cannot Be Frozen.
Well this was fairly recent. (back in .09)

And i remember kukozons and that specific zon. Sweet.
Kuko zons were the real pwners of lld in the day. but they weren't lld.

I'm not sure 100% because my memory is fuzzy due to old age, but I believe KillerOfKukos was my friend Josh (A.k.a The Noodler) who basically kept my accounts alive due to many sleazery/hacking sprees. I pretty much owe everything about everything on LLD to Josh, he was my best buddy on D2 =) too bad we lost touch, oh well. Actually, does anyone know if he still plays?
Also, IIRC Vash was a VERY early dueler.

there were a few other bears out there also
bears beat my ass bad but not many other melees gave my sin much trouble

I cant remember the first time I started too duel. Back then (I think it was on classic) I tried to use just unique items and duel people. That was sooo long ago, back when I was in about 5th or 6th grade, 3 or 4 years ago....

fuck yah dude, uniques is the way to go!
All my classic duelers use all uniques and sets. Here's a few examples of why i love the simplicity of classic.
99% of lld pvp's in classic are lvl 15/19/24 chargers. And 99% of the time they win but with these three builds of mine i completely ruin their ego's
lvl 24 cs zon
Tarnhelm
Eye of Etlich
2x Manald Heals
Twitch
Sigs Shield/boots/belt
Clegs Gloves
Lvl 24 cold sorc
Tarnhelm
Angelic Armor/Ammy/Sword
Magefists
Sigs shield/boots/belt
2x fcr/mana rings.
Lvl 24 bone nec.
(the only tricky item in this list)1nec/3spear wand
Wormskull
Angelic Ammy/Armor/Ring

Sigs shield/boots/belt
