As far as I know, there is nothing that a Conc barb can kill that a WW barb can't, but there are many, many builds that a WW barb can kill that a Conc barb can't.
How much defense do you have when you're using the crown, shade?
Better than remaking a conc barb with 1 point in WW is either making a pure WW barb with a + WW helm, or simply jeweling a +WW helm and using it on your conc barb against smiters and ranged duelers.
If you got CBF from elsewhere and got a shield with 290+ def and 2 OS and made it 46 max, you'd gain a bunch of damage and maintain the same defense if you have to sacrifice IK gloves/belt. A high defense/2 os grim helm and more 3/xx/14-15's would help too.
Smiters certainly do give Conc barbs too much trouble, so aside from getting the WW helm, another way around it is getting full Sol'd gear and just negating their damage, which is mean, but hey, Smite ain't melee anyway.
Just keep working at those charms, hopefully you got that 3/xx/14 from a few days ago too.

well my lvl29 (norm rushed only) ladder conc barb still needs alot of work, but these are his stats:
240-960 damage
8361 ar
3700 defense (6.2k with conc)
1350 life
Biggest things I need to do are:
get a 2soc holy ornate of simplicity (using a 1soc 78ed now.. :/ )
Get an eth crowbill honor
get a better helm... very hard
get max/ar/life sc's instead of plain sc's (I have 9 max/ar/str gc's for now)
2x better jewels ( in armor)
I think with the improvements i'm looking for I will prob hit:
300-1200 damage
8500 ar
4k+ defense (8k with conc)
1400 life

I would much prefer a ww helm if possible. Hell rushes aren't the easiest to get

The sc's are slowly coming in, and no response yet from that guy you told me about.(EDIT: JUST GOT IT!) Losing the IK combo would lose me the 25%ias I *think* I need. I'll check more into that. The IK combo is just a sexy setup all around for its cost (=nothing!). I've been looking for a good def grim helm to replace my current one. Something 230-250ish would definately be nice, especially if I were able to get 2os out of it. Other than death's belt (off the top of my head), I'm really not sure of a better choice for cbf than Rhyme.

Fortunately there are very few GREAT lld smiters on ladder. They'll start popping up everywhere sooner or later though. I'd prefer the ww helm over the sol'd gear since it would kill two birds with one stone and I'd only have to find ONE piece of gear vs. SEVERAL for the sols.

Life: 860
Def: 10~11 k (with conc)
AR: 7.4 k
Damage: 800-1550
