+2 b/p 20 fcr circlet |
|
i decided to make a lvl 30 necro, and all i need now is a helmet and an amulet. i was gonna use pcrown at first, but since everyone has it, im trying to get a +2 b/p 20 fcr circlet. i couldnt use the affix calculator thing because i dont know what ilvl it would be, or what it would be called. what would be the best way to find/gamble this kind of circlet? and also, the same thing for a +2 b/p 10fcr amulet.

Yes, i know its a very old topic, but it seemed like the best place to put it.
Im about to start gambling for a 2pnb 20fcr circ.
Is a lvl 30 the right lvl to do it? I know the qlvl is clvl +5 but according to the affix calc this wont get me the right mods.
But because a circ has the magic lvl thingy of 3 and it increases the alvl it allows me to get the mods?
Is this right? i dont want to spend ages gambling for somthing i cant get at that lvl...

hmm, im not exactly sure, but at one time i tried to gamble a 2fire/20fcr circlet, and the affix calc told me that lvl 41/42 was the best lvl to gamble for them.

You could PM Knarl since I know he just learned (the hard way) what clvl should gamble a nec wand he wanted so I'm pretty sure he knows all about the gambling/mf'ing reqs for a lvl 30 nec! After all he is the uber godly lvl 30 nec on West so all his gear is not good...AND...he's a mod who doesn't mind helping!

ilvl = clvl + 5 when shopping.
ilvl = clvl +4/-5 when gambling
qlvl is constant...it never changes.
higher ilvl means higher alvl (in most cases)

No, you will only have a chance of getting the mods some of the time. If I recall correctly, you are looking for an ilvl of 37, so you are only getting the chance of +2tree 20% of the time.

I thought it was 34.
Maybe that was for shopping, and it's different for gambling.

Yes, it is different. Shopping gives you a controlled ilvl, while gambling is a semi-controlled ilvl.
