Hey, I'm trying to Gamble +3 Dex / 15 Ar Boots For Lvl 9.

What lvl char should I be on when gambling?

Right now im on Lvl 18, but getting Lvl 12 Boots.

i use an 18 as well, i think you can use 13-18 and they work fine.

At level 13, only 40% of the boots you gamble have a chance at getting +3dex.

Quote:
Gambling output ilvl = clvl -5 to clvl +4


For boots, you need to generate an output ilvl of 14 to have a chance at +3 dex.

You can check with the affix calc for heavy boots, chain boots, etc.

I didn't know you could gamble uniques now, was this changed in some patch or have always been able to?

i think it dissapeared when lod came out, then was reinstated at 1.10 patch release

I heard it was just a very low chance in 1.09, 1.08 it was possible. Maybe 1.10 upped the chances again

I was never able to gamble any uniques, or even sets untill 1.10. I have no idea if the percentages changed or that was just the way my luck worked out.

i believe the chance has always been there, but it was just really low in 1.09 and 1.08

1/1000 for sets 1/10000 for uniques i think it was.
its posted in areat sumit site under gambling.

always worked in all patches 1.09 1.10 1.11

hmm... gambling a 2 shadow 20 fcr circlet has been tough... man even with all the gold I get from pubs... *sigh*. Found an ele and 2 nice 3 fire 20 fcr circs, traded for a bunch of currency plus easily tradeable stuff (ctas, hotos, etc.)... but still no shadow circlet >_<. I've been gambling with a lvl 42 and an 83 in nm and hell difficulties. Any suggestions?
