Cap is 50% regardless of where it's coming from. Damage reduced% is damage reduced%.

For fade, each point in the skill grants 1%dr.
slvl1 fade > 1%dr
slvl40 fade > 40%dr

Unfortunately, lightning bolt is blockable.

It's not that rare. You just have to look in the right place.

It's not as effective compared to a cold or fire sorc, but there's no harm in trying.

I, too, used a four socket armor. Ideally, I'd use a rare ammy and a rare circlet with +passive, but I never got around to finding those.

I'd like to believe that a jabber can go toe to toe with a zealer. When Knifer and I were more into it, and his zealer was stacked with 20s compared to my jabber with 15s, it was probably close to 60:...

Average physical damage will be the same either way. Choice should be between higher max or higher min and some psn.

It's pretty crappy. It really needs two sockets.

Typically you'll want to start out by getting rushed and quested.

You will get higher average damage in the scepter with 20/15s.

I suggest setup four, but remember that you're not using sander's boots on a level 18. Be on the lookout for that awesome rare circlet and some better charms and you should do fine.
